New life for my nightstands

Spesso all’interno delle nostre case, abbiamo mobili vecchi o antichi ai quali siamo affezionati, ma che possono stonare con il resto del nostro arredamento. Con l’aiuto delle pitture Lachalk é  giunto il momento di dare loro un nuovo splendore.

Inside our homes, we have often old or forgotten furniture that we are fond of, but they can have a style that clash with the rest of our furnishings. With the help of laChalk paints, I’ll give them a new shine.

I comodini della camera da letto hanno un loro fascino, una loro utilità, una loro importanza nel contesto perché arredano e danno vita all’ambiente dove ci riposiamo e ci rilassiamo.

The bedroom nightstands have their charm, their usefulness, their importance because they furnish and give life to the environment where we rest and relax.

E’ proprio in uno di questi momenti di relax, che ho deciso di fare splendere di nuova luce i comodini che la nonna mi aveva lasciato.

It is precisely in one of these moments of relax that I decided to give a new light to the nightstands that my grandmother had left me.

Erano tarlati dal tempo passato e dopo averli trattati per far sì che non si deteriorassero ulteriormente, ho pensato a un nuovo colore che esprimesse me stessa e allo stesso tempo si adattasse all’ambiente.

They were worm-eaten and, after treating them to ensure that they did not deteriorate further, I thought of a right color that would express myself and, at the same time, adapt to the surrounding.

Trasformarli da sola, con dei semplici passaggi, ha dato spazio alla mia creatività e ha ridato vita a dei comodini belli e in stile.

Transforming them alone, with simple steps, gave space to my creativity and gave life to beautiful and stylish nightstands.

Subito dopo il mio sguardo è caduto sul mobiletto che avevo comprato da un brocante della zona. Mentre lo stavo ridipingendo mi sono resa conto che stava prendendo un nuovo aspetto, una nuova luce.

Immediately after finishing them, my gaze fell on the cabinet that I had bought from a local brocante. As I was repainting it, I realized it was taking on a new look, a new light.

Il suo posto non era più in camera da letto. Si era trasformato in un bellissimo mobiletto French Style che ora fa bella mostra di sé nel mio soggiorno.

His place was no longer in the bedroom now. It had turned into a beautiful French Style cabinet that now shows off in my living room in all its beauty.
