Ti voglio raccontare la storia di due vecchie poltrone Queen stile Chesterfield in pelle, oramai dismesse e pronte per il loro ultimo viaggio in un mercatino per essere vendute, in due poltrone da conversazione e lettura, che riposizionate di fronte al camino acquistano un look più moderno e rendono l’ambiente suggestivo.
I want to tell you the story of two old leather armchairs Queen, Chesterfield style, ready to the last trip in a street market to be sold. Durante il sopralluogo in una villa nella quale dovevo eseguire un progetto di relooking, ho scovato queste due vecchie poltrone ed è stato subito amore a prima vista: ho percepito immediatamente il calore e la loro storia che parla di notti trascorse davanti ad un libro o a una conversazione importante. Erano state dismesse per la grande austerità data dal colore scuro della pelle naturale con la lavorazione capitonnè. Questi erano i motivi e i difetti che portavano tali arredi ad essere esclusi dalla vita moderna della famiglia. “Dai difetti però, si possono trovare delle strade che portano a far diventare un oggetto unico e di grande atmosfera! ” Partendo dalla scelta del colore sono arrivata a sperimentare la grande trasformazione e la ricollocazione delle poltrone, conferendo all’area fronte camino, un’atmosfera di grande eleganza.
