Trovo che le scatole possano essere un delizioso complemento d’arredo! Le ho sempre molto amate, fin da piccola! Se l’esterno della scatola era bello, immaginavo che anche il contenuto non sarebbe stato da meno!

I think that the boxes can be a nice furnishing accessory. I have always loved them, since I was a baby! If the box was beautiful, also the contents had to be nice!
La varietà è infinita: nei materiali, nei colori, nelle forme…
Per i colori tonalità neutre (bianco, panna, tortora…) e toni pastello: rosa cipria, carta da zucchero, verde salvia…!
There are many materials, colors, forms…
There are neutral tones (white, cream, dove grey…) and pastel tones: powder pink, sugar paper, green sage…!
I materiali possono essere il cartone, il metallo (spesso la latta) e il legno…
The materials can be cardboard, metal (usually metal sheet) and the wood…
Ultimamente sono conquistata dalle scatole-cappelliera. Molteplici sono gli utilizzi possibili!Possono essere collocate sia nella zona living, su un tavolo, ma anche per terra, una sull’altra, sia nella zona notte, magari sopra l’armadio della nonna recuperato in perfetto stile shabby chic!

Però più che acquistarle belle e pronte, a me piace poter dare loro il mio tocco personale e scegliere io colori e decori in linea con l’ambiente che le ospiterà.
Trovo bellissima anche la tecnica del trasferimento d’immagine: motivi floreali, scritte vintage in francese (che danno sempre un tocco elegante e raffinato), silhouettes e così via.
But I don’t like to buy them, I prefer to give then my personal touch and choose the colors and decorations in line with the setting where they will be collocated.
I believe beautiful also the technique of the image’s transfer: floral motives, vintage writings in french ( that have always an elegant touch), silhouettes and so on…
Sapete, ho una bella scatola tipo cappelliera, in realtà era la scatola di una teiera di ‘Royal Albert’! … ma non resterà così! …pronta per essere trasformata!
